We arrived in Buenos Aires, Argentina October 8, 2002.
At first we were very excited about, well, basically everything. We wrote about and took photos of lots of things, many of which we still find exciting.
But as expected, the adventure part, where everything felt new and wondrous, changed little by little into the normal dailyness of life. Buenos Aires still took our breath away from time to time, but after a while it started to feel more like home.
When the adventure and newness of life in Argentina wore off, so did our excitement about updating this site. We still add to it occasionally, but its heyday of 2002 and 2003 has passed.
After a year in Argentina (for Jeremy) and three years (for David), we’ve both moved back, at least temporarily, to North-American roots. Maybe someday we’ll all get our act together and start writing again.
Maybe that will happen when we start on a new adventure.
